Eddy moved to Shanghai from Europe in 2004 to lead the Chinese arm of a private equity investment company and subsequently managed funds in China and Hong Kong. Soon after learning about Bitcoin he decided to shift the focus of his investment actitivies solely on Bitcoin-centric startups, convinced of the great potential and disruptive power of cryptocurrencies to transform the worlds of finance, payments, trading and remittances.
